Gardens by the Bay Entry Tickets Overview
Opened in June 2012 on reclaimed land along the waterfront of Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay has grown in little over a decade into one of Asia's most acclaimed tourist destinations and a powerful symbol of Singapore's extraordinary vision of becoming a City in a Garden. Spanning 101 hectares with over 1.5 million plants from every continent except Antarctica, the gardens combine futuristic architecture, world-class horticultural science, and spectacular visual design into an experience that is simultaneously a nature park, an art installation, and an engineering marvel.
The centrepiece of the gardens is the Grove of 18 Supertrees, vertical gardens rising between 25 and 50 metres and housing over 162,900 plants, ferns, and tropical flowers on their outer surfaces. Eleven of the 18 Supertrees are fitted with environmental technologies including solar energy collection and rainwater harvesting that make them functional as well as beautiful. Each evening at 19:45 and 20:45 the Supertrees come alive in the free Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, one of Singapore's most magical and most photographed experiences.
The two cooled conservatories are the centrepiece paid attractions. The Flower Dome, the world's largest glass greenhouse with a span of over 1.2 hectares under a single roof, recreates warm dry climates and houses plants from the Mediterranean, South Africa, and arid tropical regions. The Cloud Forest features the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 35 metres and a lush mountain walk through exotic tropical highland plants. In 2026 the Cloud Forest hosts Jurassic World: The Experience featuring lifelike dinosaurs, and Floral Fantasy presents the Disney Garden of Wonder with all-new Disney and Pixar floral displays running until March 2027.
Know Before You Go
Note that the Flower Dome and Supertree Observatory have scheduled monthly maintenance closure days when they will be fully closed, so always check the official website at gardensbythebay.com.sg for your specific visit date
The outdoor gardens including the Supertree Grove are free to enter from 05:00 to 02:00 daily so combining a free evening visit to watch Garden Rhapsody with a daytime paid conservatory visit on a separate day is a practical and economical approach
The Supertree Observatory and OCBC Skyway both offer elevated views and are separate paid experiences that can be added to your conservatory ticket
Book your Gardens by the Bay conservatory tickets online in advance to benefit from better online pricing and guaranteed entry, particularly on weekends and public holidays when the conservatories can be very busy
Sections of the Colonnade and Supertree Grove Lawn are temporarily closed from 22 June to 16 July 2026 in preparation for Singapore Garden Festival 2026 and visitors will be re-routed during this period
