360 CHICAGO Observation Deck Entry Tickets Overview
Begin at the concourse level with an interactive journey through the storied history and vibrant neighborhoods that define Chicago. From there, step into one of North America's fastest elevators and rocket to the 94th floor in just 40 seconds.
At 1,000 feet above the pavement, the 360-degree observation deck delivers sweeping panoramas stretching up to 50 miles across four states on clear days. Look north along the curve of Lake Shore Drive and sandy lakefront beaches, or gaze south across the iconic skyscrapers of the Loop and the lush expanse of Grant Park.
For an adrenaline rush, step into TILT, a downward-facing glass bay that leans you outward at a 30-degree angle, suspending you directly over the Magnificent Mile far below. Afterward, unwind at CloudBar, taking in floor-to-ceiling skyline views with a drink in hand as the city hums beneath you.

On clear days, views extend up to 50 miles across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Looking north you see Lake Shore Drive, Lincoln Park, and the lakefront neighbourhoods. Looking south you see the Loop skyline and Grant Park. The full 360-degree perspective is available from the circular deck.
The two offer distinct perspectives. Skydeck is in the Loop at 1,353 feet with views emphasising the downtown skyline. 360 CHICAGO is on the Magnificent Mile at 1,000 feet with direct views north over the lakefront neighbourhoods and Lincoln Park. Skydeck has The Ledge glass floor balconies while 360 CHICAGO has TILT as its signature experience.
CloudBar is a full-service bar on the observation deck, accessible to all ticket holders at no additional charge. It serves cocktails featuring local Chicago spirits, craft beers on tap, and non-alcoholic beverages. No reservation, dress code, or drink minimum is required. Guests buying alcoholic beverages must present valid photo ID proving they are 21 or older.
360 CHICAGO is the observation deck on the 94th floor of 875 North Michigan Avenue, formerly known as the John Hancock Center. At 1,000 feet above street level, it offers 360-degree views of Chicago, Lake Michigan, and four states. The experience includes an interactive exhibit, high-speed elevator, observation deck, CloudBar, and the option to upgrade to TILT.
TILT is a glass-fronted compartment on the north side of the observation deck that tilts guests 30 degrees outward over the Magnificent Mile, 1,000 feet above the street. It is not included in standard admission and must be purchased as a separate upgrade on site. Availability depends on weather conditions.
The hour before sunset is widely recommended, allowing you to see the city in afternoon light and then watch the skyline illuminate after dark. The observation deck is open until 23:00 daily, making evening visits very practical. Weekday mornings from opening until noon are typically the quietest.
