Transported stone by stone and reassembled in the Sackler Wing, it is displayed in a glass pavilion with a reflective pool and is consistently the single most visited object in the entire museum.

The most convenient subway connections are the 4/5/6 to 86th Street station, approximately a 5-minute walk to the museum entrance on Fifth Avenue, or the 4/5/6 to 77th Street, a similar distance from the south. By bus, the M1, M2, M3, and M4 Madison Avenue buses all stop near the museum.
